Proud to announce the collaboration with Change Now for the summit 2024
Here’s the official poster for ChangeNOW Summit 2024 designed by me.
I am so so sooo over the moon! I don’t think this description quite measures up to the excitement and joy I feel at having been invited to design the official Change Now poster for the 2024 summit!
It’s hard to describe what this means to me! The poster says step into a sustainable world and the first time I stepped my foot into Change Now was 2020, thanks to my friends Anna Mäusbacher who invited me to come along. I immediately fell in love with the mission, the summit and the team! Who are amazing, I also saw a lot of art at the summit and it was only a dream to maybe once exhibit with Change Now. A dream that came true in 2022, thanks to my friend Nico from Waves of, who recommended my work. Being a speaker on the panel building a culture for change meant a lot to me as the #schoolartivism is really a heart project. So Change Now as had a huge impact on me and my work and I couldn’t be prouder! Feeling so thankful!
The poster will be all over Paris, in metros, on their website and of course at the Grand Palais Éphémère!
Pinch me !

In January 2023 I exhibited my artwork from my book '123, Who's Cleaning the Sea' at the BOOT Düsseldorf with the German Ocean Foundation at Hall 14 / 40. The artwork was on display during the whole fair.
Huge thank you to Thomas Gahr from SHARKPROJECT for those beautiful images and also thank you to Jan Matzoll for the allowance to repost his Photo with Otto Frank and the German Ocean Foundation.
So many inspiring people who are doing fantastic work! Grateful having been part of Love Your Ocean - huge thank you to Frank Schweikert for all his work and the fantastic team behind it.

3-9 FEB 2023 - the world’s top ocean conservation leaders and professionals will meet at the Fifth International Marine Protected Areas Congress (IMPAC5) in Vancouver, Canada to chart a course towards protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030. #30x30
My presentation talked about the importance of ARTivism:
- especially with the younger generation
- deep sea mining
- importance of female voices
- toxins in our body / food
- shark finning
- blue Carbon (thank you to @rebecca_saltysea & @themarinediaries for the support on the article on blue Carbon)
But overall the importance to motivate others to join the community of humans that care about our blue planet!

EXHIBITIONS 2022
POLITICO Sustainable Future Week
November 29th to December 1st 2022 in Brussels | Belgium
I was beyond proud being able to exhibited at this event!
It feels rather surreal watching the first opening speech and being mentioned as part of the Politico artfair a few mins before Al Gore enters the stage virtually.
These artivist pieces were exhibited at the Sustainable Future Week in Brussels
~ Human ‘Plastic’ Organs ~ Human ‘Carbon’ Footprint ~ Plastic Sushi ~ A plastic planet ~ World Overshoot day ~ Female Ocean ~ Breath of Life
All the panels were super interesting, really enjoyed this! Having everyone on the table got the discussion certainly a bit heated but might also be the key to push for change! The panels are on YouTube or later will be listed here alongside photos from the summit.

One of my biggest dreams came true! In May 2022 I exhibited with CHANGE NOW at the Grand Palais Éphémère during the #changenowsummit2022 in Paris. Curated by Ronan de la Croix
Probably the best event for the planet I’ve ever been to (in 2020) and since then a dream to be part of it! Immensely proud and thankful my artwork was exhibited and I was invited on stage to speak at the 'building a culture for change' panel. Listen to the Panel here!
As a self-published author, I dreamed of being successful with my books even though I didn't have a big publisher behind me. But that surpassed everything, and I would never have expected it in my life. My illustrations of the book #123whoscleaningthesea exhibited at the Grand Palais. It's been a difficult journey with lots of ups and downs, I guess never giving up is one of the keys, but in the end it makes all sense. A huge thank you to the universe!

Explorers Against Extinction - Wildlife & Wild Spaces - Sketch for Survival - Finalists and invitational Artist are exhibited
Artist of the year with the illustration "Mangroves" - winner in the category Wild Spaces.
I am so so proud being part of the Explorer Against Extinction gallery in the VIP lounge of COP26 in the UK.
On this image is the chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Bundeskanzlerin and member of parliament for North West St. Andrew, Dr. Nigel Clarke in front of our artwork!
In the background 5 images in A0 Format from the #sketchforsurvival exhibition. Only three are visible in this image and the two in the middle are the orcas of Johanna Excell and my Mangrove, (talks about the importance of Blue Carbon) originally created for the The Marine Diaries!
As I’m German originally and Johanna lives in Germany we were both blown away and super super thankful!
“It was a pleasure to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel at #COP26 in Glasgow & to personally thank her for Germany’s support in the successful placement of Ja’s Catastrophe Bond. 🇯🇲 Ja became the first small island state in the world to independently sponsor a catastrophe bond.” ~ Dr Nigel Clarke
Thank you Dr. Nigel Clarke for your permission to use this image! Very thankful! copyright image: Dr. Nigel Clarke
"Blue Carbon is a term for carbon captured in coastal/marine ecosystems. According to UNESCO current estimates indicate that we lost half of all mangroves in the past 40 years. Protecting mangroves is extremely important because they are a key weapon in the fight against climate change. Mangroves reduce flooding and erosion from storms, are nurseries for fish, filtering pollutants, and storing more carbon dioxide than rainforests do. But when mangroves get destroyed or damaged they release the carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere."
The judges said: "So much detail. Very topical. love that the colour is only in the water, and it’s beautifully done with lots of light and depth. "

"Protège ce qui te donne la vie"
July 2019 // Auvergne Château de Saint-Ilpize
Janina Rossiter, author and artist, invites you to her exhibiton in the castle of Saint Ilpize.
Passionate about the oceans and aware of its problems, Janina Rossiter is presenting an exhibiton around the subject of ocean pollution and art that's evocative of water.
"I have particularly moving memories from the exhibition “Protect what keeps you alive” held at the Chateau de Saint-Ilpize in Auvergne, France, where the exchanges with visitors were both deep and sensitive. The positive feedback I receive on my work continues to motivate and inspire me to protect our planet. "
This is also the place where the idea for my second environmental book "Diamonds, Hearts and Sea Stars" started.
